Hello all!

I'm new to Vancouver, British Columbia, and I've seen a few flowers that I LOVE... yet I have no clue as to what they are! Can you help?

The first is my favourite!

Kelly, welcome to the forum. I am happy you joined and hope you will like it here

Gorgeous flowers! Especially the green ones. I am afraid I have no idea what they are but I am going to search with you to find out. Unless....... other members here beat me to it (as happens usually )

Doesn't this 'pretty green plant' look a little similar to the post 'Euphobia.sp?' further down?

the first picture (your favorite, mine too) is Helebores, http://www.hellebores.org/ The website should give you details on how to grow and maintain these absolutely lovely shade perennials. Around here, they bloom between Christmas and Easter which gives the garden some rare color when nothing else is able to bloom.

I will reserve comment on the other two. At first glance they do look like Euphorbia, but there seems to be definite flowers whereas Euphorbia is known for it's bracts. I'll have to check into these a little further.

They are very beautiful, even though I do not know what they are and have never see them in China . I like the second kind of flower best.
Do you keep them in your garden?
