Hello. I have a big problem concerning a small space. You see my brother passed away a couple years ago and I've been looking for some hearty perennials for his gravesite. I'm looking for something that doesnt grow over 12 inches tall at most and, due to my own poor health, relatively easy to care for. So far this year I set in tulips & phlox for early spring and summer and rose bushes but I need something that is suitable for mid to late summer. I had considered mums but arent they more for autumn? Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

Rick

What about dahlias? They are relatively easy to care for and will be beautiful in early autumn.
I'd also like to suggest lavender.
