A friend is getting married in Santa Barbara in October.
would like to use red flowers, warm reds. What would be good choices ? Centerpieces mainly.

HiSelby welcome to the forum I am happy you joined us.

Depending on her wedding dress (classic?) I would personnaly opt for red roses. With their eternal classic beauty they always are a great choice.

If she wouldn't like those there are red petunias for a more 'lighter' look, less classic, or red carnations - for example

Roses are always the first choice. What she should do is look at the different flowers that attract her eye and look up the meanings of the flowers. Usually the red flower means deep love. Why not a mix of reds, roses, carnations and maybe white button mums with a spattering of baby's breath. The white flower means purity.

Just a thought.
