Rikesh what do you think?
Should we re-categorize the forum (different headings and sub-headings to approach more detailed and specific subjects)? And, if so, can you let me know as to what you think would be best addressed?

Hi.. Sorry that I'm not here much...
Got a three year full time course starting soon...
I guess that I would not be here often now

The Forum is quite good.
We should add topics such as:
Succulent section
Organic growing
A separate category for solved IDs
Composting

Make this sticky... Our members could tell us what they want

Thank you, Rikesh Very much appreciated. So sad to hear I won't be seeing you around here that often anymore though However, I wish you lots of luck with the course

I placed this in the admin lounge where members can't read. Do you think it's a good idea to place it in the forum feed-back section?

Just to throw my two cents in. I think the catagories that Rikesh mentions would be helpful.

Maybe a little to much work, but if a ID solved button could be added so that the original poster could click it and then the posts would be moved into the "ID Solved" forum. Then people with ID questions could take a look there first if they wanted to try to find the plant/flower.

I know I have seen different people ask for ID of the same plant 2 or 3 times since I have been a member.

I think we need some real restructure here... Something like:

plant identification
- flower identification
- tree identification
- leaf identification
- wild berry identification
- mushroom identification
- solved identifications

Gardening
- Pests & Diseases
- Gardening Equipment (?)
- growing veggies to eat
- Square foot gardening
-- ? what else ?

Plants
- Roses
- Cacti
- Orchids
- Bonsai
- Pond Plants
- Bird attracting plants

-- ? what else ?

"Cacti, succulents and xeriscaping" as a single category would cover a lot of subjects.

NOOOOOO
I would like only pond care and cactus section.
I would be quite busy as from next week(3 years full time course) and I won't have time to check all categories

The Forum needs more moderators!! Assign a couple of mods for each section. Would be great. It's sometimes difficult to cope with all those posts.

IMHO you should rename the "Cactus Care" to "Drought Tolerant Plants"

and the correct the word "cacti" to "cactii".
This was a typo mistake from above..

That's the things that you should read before you clicked "I Agree" while registering. But it's never too late to learn.
I'll give a quick recap: You should NOT
do anything that is counterproductive to the community(spamming, insulting, illegal, disrespect).
There are already links that define the forum usage: http://www.flowersforums.com/faqs/community-rules.html

These links are available from the forum's home page.
Feel free to ask help from the administrative team if doubts arise.

Wow! I just got kicked out of the forum, lost an hours' worth of comments about the re-categorization, and now get an "error 404 page not found' message when I try to go to your "we're live - new categories" page.

Could it be broken out into 'annuals' and 'perennials' too? Just a thought
