I found it. I FINALLY found it.
My mystery flower is Ipheion uniflorum Spring Star Flower
And there are MANY cultivars:
Ipheion uniflorum ‘Wisley Blue’ These are the ones that I saw in my local park. I love them.
Ipheion uniflorum ‘Froyle Mill’ rare purple version according to the site I got it from. Copyright infringement is not intended.

I love them……but I already said this. A big shout out to Jade who helped me find them. I looked in my books and I found them thank you.
This is the first flower that the internet didn’t help me find the name to. My books did and for that I love them even more and I didn’t think that was possible! I LOVE them
I was immensely pleased to see that they come in all these colors. Wonder if there are any red ones?
