ive got lots of white flowers on my chilli plant but no chilli has of yet this has been going on for 3 months

Perhaps it's a variety that is not self-pollinating. Or, if it's indoors, the air is too still to move the pollen from flower to flower.

You could try dusting multiple flowers with a small paintbrush (thus moving the pollen from one flower to another).
