I have a plant growing in my field, where I had placed some materials from my compost. It started appearing about three years ago, and now the patch has tripled in size. They are generally around 6-8" tall. They have a bright yellow (almost neon when fully developed) cluster of flowers at the top of a single stem with many thin leaves coming off the stalk. When you break the stem or the leaves, it oozes a white fluid. The plant is quite sticky.
The flowers have a delicate fragrance.
I have not seen anything like it before. It spreads rapidly.

Sounds like some sort of Euphorbia.
