Crystal hi
I think THIS (please click) site belonging to the Bermuda grass com. can help you out. I thought the instructions were always written on the back of the package

You should go to Outsidepride.com as they have tons of information on planting a bermuda grass lawn as well as maintaining it. They also have bermuda grass seed if you need to overseed your current bermuda grass lawn. Here is a link to their web site: http://www.outsidepride.com/seed/grass-seed/bermuda- grass-seed/

You sure you want to plant the stuff? Keep the following in mind:

The down side to Bermuda grass is the aggressive quality that also makes it so popular. Flower beds or other adjacent areas can be over-run if not kept in check by constant edging or applications of herbicides. This is one of the grasses that can "return from the dead" if not completely killed the first time due to its extensive root system and just digging it up without getting rid of the roots will not solve the problem. Repeated applications of a glyphosphate such as Roundup are usually required.
