[b]I was gonna take a picture of the flower in my garden that has been coming back for so many years.
I don't know what it is...then I saw the orange flowers along the band at the top of this page and bang!
IT'S THAT FLOWER...Help...can you name it?
Thanks

Someone? The orange flower at the top of this page along band photo? Single petaled, tall and whispy. Looks like a merigold leaf, only longer and more delicate. If it's a merigold, what type?

Orange cosmos, interesting. It does have the pod like a cosmos. The flower also looks like it, but orange.
Not what a typical cosmos looks like.
Thanks...I was wondering if it was a type of calendula to use the petals in my soap making. Oh well, it is very pretty.
Thank you for your help.

I have to agree about the orange cosmos. http://www.wildflowerinformation.org/Wildflower.asp? ID=47. These are readily available and extremely easy to grow. I have them in my garden as well and are often in those cans of wildflowers.
