I was just in Mexico visiting a friend in his new house and noticed his landscaper had planted a fantastic ground cover I had never seen befor. I've been tio a couple of nurseries and thaey are stumpes. Here goes. Its a low ground cover the pant of which looks like rosemary. Whats diferent about it is it has a very beautiful red flower ( size of a small penny ) that opens only in the morning the closes for the rest of the day. Any ideas? If I can figure this out then the next question becomes, will it grow in the coastal region of Souther California, near the beach?
Thanks for your help.
