I found this blooming at 2400 ft and West Lancaster, CA. Considered High Desert. No water. Beautiful spikes of purple flowers. 5 to 6 feet tall. Plant looks like an Echium but the flowers don't. I do seem to be allergic to it, like poison ivy. Has a very herbal scent and fuzzy leaves. How do I post a Photo?
