A friend of a friend has this growing in her yard, she lives in southwestern Ohio, she said it goes to seed,has a beautiful brown paper like seed pod, and it comes back every year. It gets a lot of sun and she never waters it. She didn't plant it, so she doesn't know what it is....

Yvonne, thankyou, SO much for the ID.... it is so beautiful, I just had to find out..... I want to grow some ... I'm starting a new cottage style garden at our new house..... do you have any of these ?

Hi Melissa,

I used to have that growing & it seeds very easily & they pop up everywhere, there are light & dark blues, white & maybe a pink version I think, hope your cottage garden goes well,
