We live in Arizona and have had this tree in our backyard for approx 6 years. The landscaping plan called for a Texas Laurel where this tree is but it's definitely not that. What is it? We can't find any name or info about it. Totally void of leaves or flowers in the winter, just a stick. Spring brings pink with yellow bell flowers and summer will bring leaves. I don't have a picture of a green leaf, only a dead one, sorry. Here's pictures of it as of yesterday. Thanks for any help you can give.

That appears to be exactly what it is after searching the internet with that name. Thank you so much, it will make my wife very happy to finally know what it is and how to better care for it.

Fantastic.
