We have lived here in southeastern KY for 11 years and this beautiful bush/tree was here when we bought our house. It blooms totally full of light pink/white flowers...usually by Easter...every year and the fragrance is overwhelmingly wonderful. The flowers only last 2-3 weeks unfortunately.

The people that built this house and had the landscaping done said something about a 'dogwood bush', but I'm sure this can't be it.

I have searched off and on for years and no one around here seems to know what it's called. Can anyone help???

Since it is no longer flowering, I can't take any close-ups of the flowers but I'll search my pics to make sure I don't have another one to post.

Thank you!
Julie

Last pic....my daughter holding one of the 'picks'. The flowers are basically 'cluster-like'.

Thank you so much! I looked them up and that's exactly it! Everything it described is right on. It's so nice to have a beautiful name for this beautiful plant!

Thanks again!
