I have tried flower experts online and no luck. Anyone have one of these and no what it is? It's about 4' high, blooms late spring in the northwest, and has tiny delicate clusters of lavender flowers and I have lots more pics if anyone wants to see them.

Thank you so much... I tried a flower expert online, and they told me pincushion (not even close) and liatris.

When I search that species, it comes up as a columbine. Exactly what I thought. Thank you so much! I've been trying to ID this plant for years.
