Well, you have to first make a sketch as how to divide your roof into sections and what flowers/plants you like to have up there

Hi Bhanu,
I am also from India. I have planted a garden on my roof. It is better for you that you plant only flower plant. In corners of roof you can plant creepers. Between roofs you can plant sunflower.

You most certainly make sure the structure can handle the weight.You have underlayment,then dirt,plants,and water at a min.
