better late than never

Ok so I jumped right in and ask a question, then thought maybe I should do the introduction thread as well.

So Hi to every one and a big THANKS to those that helped me ID my Holly Hocks.

My name is Latrell and I know very little about plants, however for the last 15 years or so I have managed to raise some amazing flower beds.

I have only lived in my home for 2 years, and there where no flower beds here when we moved in. I happend to be pregnant shortly after moving here so the lawn and flowers had a slow start, but we have managed a good start on putting in some really nice plants,

In the past (at my previous home) I a lot of flowers and flower beds every where. I pretty much bought plants that I thought looked pretty. However this time around I have a new husband who is just as excited about putting in new plants as I am.

My husband is a Tech guy, and a photographer but about the time we moved in to this house he took up bee keeping. So about 98% of the plants we have put in where specifically purchased because they are "bee" plants. So now my challenge is to create beautiful flower beds that will also feed the bees!
I can't wait to see what we will do in the upcoming years.
