Hello,
I just posted on the introduce myself page.

As I said, I came from a very brown thumb family and I am in desperate need of help!

I live at the southern most part of Ontario Canada. Here is my question:
I bought potted Lilies (2 Orange and 3 White) for my patio. I had the orage ones in urns in front of my garage and the white ones I kept in the pots and lined my entrance with them. They were GORGEOUS when I bought them. Full of bright beautiful flowers.

About 4 days after the party I had bought them for, every single flower pettal had fallen off of them.
I realized that they must be in the wrong spot and moved them out where they could get full sun all day. I put miracle grow on them but they don't seem to be doing much now.

Here's the strange part, the foliage (don't know if that's the correct term- but the stem and leaves) seems to be doing perfect. It's full, green and healthy looking.

I had also bought 2 potted Gerber Daisys previous to this purchase and the exact same thing happened. The leaves looked lively, green and healthy... and all of the flowers died.

What am I doing wrong? Now I have 7 - yes 7 plants that are just green, no flowers
What should I do to get more flowers out of them?????

When petals fall off usually it means the flower (not the plant) is dying. Usually new buds will start to grow again if the plant itself is healthy.
