How many times are you suppose to water rose plant's and how many times are you suppose to ferterlize it and what does it mean by moderately moist each spring .

I also like to give my roses a fertilizer of thoroughly dried out used coffee grounds to increase the acidity a bit for them. I collect grounds from two brews, and dry them out on a cookie sheet. Then I spread them around the roses. The acidity in the coffee grounds also helps keep the roses healthy and mites and aphids at bay.
